Important Note: Each cycle of the DCA bot is independent, meaning that manual averaging applies only to positions taken during the current cycle. A new cycle begins with the initial investment, so previous cycles don't affect the new ones.
How to Average Your DCA Position
Follow these simple steps to manually average your DCA Bot position:
Step 1: Select the Bot
- Navigate to the list of active bots.
- Choose the bot you want to use for manual position averaging.
- Click the [Bot actions] button next to the selected bot.
Step 2: Choose Manual Position Averaging
Step 3: Adjust the Averaging Amount
You will also see the following information:
- Available Balance: How much of your funds can be used for the bot.
- Current Position Size: The size of your current position in the base currency.
- Estimated Position Size: The approximate size of the position after manual averaging.
- DCA Price: The average price of the asset in the current cycle before applying manual averaging.
- Estimated DCA Price: The new average price after applying manual averaging.
Step 4: Confirm the Changes
Once you've set the amount to average, click the [Confirm] button to apply the changes. The bot will execute the averaging transaction, and you’ll see the updated position size and DCA price reflected in the bot’s history with the status “Manual avg.” The changes will also appear on the chart.
